“Solar lighting is about making our off-road bikeways and pedestrian paths safer, reducing vandalism and graffiti and saving energy for Brisbane”, according to Cr Jane Prentice. With that in mind Brisbane City Council went on to install 42 x EverGEN SE-20 solar powered LED area lights for use along the Kedron Brook bikeway, which runs through the Northern suburbs of Brisbane.
"Over the last 12 months, council has been extremely happy with how the solar bollards have stood up, in regards to performance of light and also the issue of vandalism in the skate park."
With the Barron River in full flood, completely submerging the First Light Bollards on the walkway.
“I checked the lights out on the walkway last night. All 4 lights were found to be in full working order. This is remarkable considering what they went through and the fact that some were submerged for quite a while.”
Thanks for your prompt response. We are great advocates of you product and will be extending our solar network at every opportunity.
